CMK Development Partners has teamed up with Behrend Construction to renovate the former Waterman Funeral Home in Wellesley Center.

The proposed project will include the complete renovation of the former funeral home, in addition to the demolition of a smaller building in the rear of the site, and the construction of an addition on the original funeral home.\

​

The completed project will include 19 condominium residences, four of which will be defined as affordable as required by the town’s regulations.

​

The front facade of the original building will be completely restored, presenting a high quality street front with high quality landscaping.

​

It is expected that the project will proceed through the town’s regulatory process during the first quarter of 2026, with final designs proceeding at the same time.

​

The building is being designed by McKay Architects of Dedham.

​

Construction will begin in mid-2026, with completing in mid-2027.
