CMK Development Partners is a real estate development, investment and advisory firm with extensive experience across a broad variety of asset classes. 

 

CMK was founded in 2019 by Dr. Gerry Kavanaugh.  The management team of CMK has a combined 50 years of real estate development and investment experience.  Members of CMK’s leadership team have played key roles in some of the largest and most successful real estate projects in Massachusetts.

The principals of CMK have raised more than $100 million in financing over the past three years alone, and have constructed a number of different projects, including the renovation of historic buildings in older cities for higher education purposes, the historic renovation of public buildings for residential housing, both rental and condominiums, and have played important consulting roles in a number of other projects.

 

CMK has completed a number of mixed-use projects, including several in Weymouth. One particularly successful development is the Vault at 88, located in Columbian Square. The team demolished a former bank building and constructed a four story residential building with first floor retail space. A second located in New Bedford, is the renovation of a former Catholic high school that had been vacant for almost 40 years.

 

One of the reasons that CMK is successful, of course, is its 50 years of experience in regulating the development of a wide variety of development in a variety of cities in Massachusetts, including Boston, Quincy, Salem, and Lawrence.
