1055 Main is a 24 unit market rate apartment building located in Weymouth, MA. Construction began in the all of 2020 on the four–story, 30,000 square foot building with 7,500 square feet of retail space on the first floor.
Located on Main Street (Route 18), it is located one mile from the South Weymouth commuter rail station, and a 1/2 mile from the region’s largest employer – South Shore Health Systems. The project has been designed by Fisher Associates, a local Weymouth firm, with engineering done by McKinnon Associates.
This new development, financed by Abington Bank, is the direct result of the town’s new overlay zoning district which promotes multi-family housing.
